On Instagram over the weekend, Liberty Park Diner announced they will be closing permanently. Jersey City will lose one of its beloved long-running diners at the end of the month.
It appears the closing is another small business casualty of the coronavirus related shutdown.
With any sort of meaningful government assistance stalled and heavy restrictions still in place, we suspect we’ll see many more closures in the coming months.
From Instagram,
It is with great sadness that we announce the closing of our beloved Liberty Park Diner. We are absolutely heartbroken to be closing after 20 years of servicing the Jersey City community. From our family to yours we want to thank everyone for your love and support. Our last day will be on the 30th.
