Over the summer, we announced Jersey City would soon get its largest mural to date.
Now complete, the mural, which spans 80’ tall and 200’ wide, can officially claim the title. Painted by Distort, the piece depicts scenes from Jersey City’s industrial past, with references to The Bergen Arches and Erie Cut, The Pulaski Skyway, and Frank Hague’s Medical Center now known as The Beacon.
The mural, located at 580 Marin Boulevard, graces the side of Mecca & Sons cold storage warehouse, the site of which, was recently approved for massive, two-tower mixed-use development.
