A former industrial building along Jersey City’s eastern Hoboken border is being reimagined into luxury condominiums.
Paying homage to the building’s industrial past, The Cliffs Collection will feature 60 loft-style residences with an industrial flair and an amenity package focused on a wellness lifestyle.
Located at 100 Paterson Plank Road in Jersey City, the pre-war building, which dates back to the early 1900s, was first converted to apartment residences over a decade ago. At that time, its classic exterior was restored as part of its rebirth, creating a signature landmark residential building.
Now, the building’s owner and developer, Manhattan Building Company, is converting the project to condominiums. Sales at the building will launch following a complete modernization program which includes a new suite of amenities that incorporates elements of Blue Zone Living, a “lifestyle concept emphasizing a balance of diet, good habits and social engagement to initiate healthier, happier and longer lives.”
“There is simply nothing like The Cliffs Collection offered in Hudson County,” says Sanford Weiss, CEO of Manhattan Building Company, owner and developer of The Cliffs Collection. “Of course, it starts with the homes themselves where no stone has been unturned. These condominiums defy market standards with unique and oversized living spaces outfitted with designer features and finishes that pay homage to the building’s industrial past.”
Since the building is being converted, condos are available for near immediate occupancy. Layouts range from studio-to-four-bedrooms and feature open floor plans spanning 570 to 2,200 square feet. Pricing starts from the $500,000s.
Unlike many other condo projects, units at The Cliffs are fully customizable, allowing for buyers to work with in-house designers or on their own to tailor their new home with myriad of selections and options
“Buyers can also purchase a home ‘as is,’ allowing for them to privately complete renovations and improvements,” says Joshua Biegel, Project Director for The Cliffs Collection.
