After a long-awaited grand opening in Weehawken this summer, Whole Foods is continuing its expansion in the Northeast and announced on Wednesday the grand opening date of a new location in Parsippany, New Jersey. Located at 60 Waterview Boulevard, Whole Foods Market Parsippany will open its doors at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, November 6.
The brand new, 47,000-square-foot store will celebrate opening day with complimentary beverages from Allegro Coffee and pastries from favorite local supplier Balthazar Bakery, while the first 500 customers will receive a custom Whole Foods Market Parsippany reusable canvas tote bag among other giveaways.
“We can’t wait to welcome the Parsippany community into their new Whole Foods Market,” said Scott Earl, Store Team Leader. “We’ve worked hard to create a store that our neighbors will love, from its responsibly-sourced, local, fresh and innovative product offerings, to its wide variety of grab-and-go options, to its in-store fast casual restaurant, Market Garden.”
Whole Foods Market Parsippany will exemplify the company’s rigorous quality standards and offer customers a fresh produce department, a full-service butcher department, and a seafood department featuring local suppliers, in-house items, and ready-to-cook options. The specialty foods section will offer a self-serve fresh pasta bar, as well as a selection of artisanal local chocolates and cheeses, and the prepared foods department will include the store’s signature self-serve hot and cold food bars.
A full-service coffee and tea bar is complemented by a build-your-own acai bowl station and a self-serve juice bar, and customers can also browse the beauty and body care department with products from 15 different local suppliers.
Whole Foods Market offers Amazon Prime members a number of discounts and benefits year-round and to celebrate the grand opening in Parsippany, five percent of Whole Foods Market Parsippany net sales on opening day will be donated to the New Jersey Highlands Coalition.
Whole Foods Market Parsippany will employ approximately 200 full- and part-time team members and the store will be open from 8 a.m. – 10 p.m. daily.
