A new McDonald’s is opening in Rutgers Plaza Shopping Center in Somerset. The 4,500-square-foot location features two side-by-side drive-throughs serving food 24/7 as well as a 62-seat restaurant. McDonald’s was represented by Chuck Lanyard, President and Marc Palestina, Vice President of The Goldstein Group. Sid Singer represented Rutgers Plaza owner Levin Properties LP.
McDonald’s is leasing a pad location in Rutgers Plaza Shopping Center at 940 Easton Avenue formerly occupied by Burger King. The new fast food location joins the robust 266,157-square-foot commercial center anchored by a large Stop & Shop as well as a host of other dining, retail and service offerings, including Crunch Fitness, GNC and Chase Bank. Rutgers Plaza Shopping Center draws 1.6 million visitors per year and is minutes from Rutgers University.
