Pure Hockey has opened a new location in Central New Jersey at 2480 Route 22 in Kenilworth. The news was recently announced by Chuck Lanyard, President of The Goldstein Group.

This deal consists of former Clean Land Laundromat location, a 11,340 square feet free-standing building. Marc Palestina, Vice President and Chuck Lanyard of The Goldstein Group represented the landlord, Kenilworth 2480 Route 22 LLC; while Dean Tselepis, Managing Director of Newmark Real Estate represented the tenant.

“We’re excited to see Pure Hockey enter the Route 22 market,” noted Palestina. “They’ve converted the former Laundromat/Dry Cleaner into a modern, clean hockey retail store that will service the Central Jersey hockey community”.

Pure Hockey, which started out as a small store in Worcester, MA, is now known as the largest hockey equipment retailer in the United States. Today they have over 60 specialty hockey stores.

The Route 22 Union/Springfield market in New Jersey is home to many chain stores, both national and regional, making it a prime retail area. Nearby tenants include fast-casual restaurants like McDonalds and Chick-Fil-A, and retail stores such as PetSmart, TJ Maxx, Costco Wholesale, Home Goods, and Dick’s Sporting Goods.
