A business known for their Japanese-style desserts that still aim to be health-conscious is headed to the Mile Square City as Hey Yogurt will be setting up shop at space just blocks from Hoboken Terminal.
During their June 5 meeting, Hoboken’s Historic Preservation Committee approved a signage application for 90 Hudson Street. The former medical office will be converted into an outpost of Hey Yogurt, who opened their first location in Fort Lee on Main Street.
Hey Yogurt strives for “impeccable taste” with their yogurt drinks, which come in more traditional flavors like mango, green grape, Oreo, or strawberry alongside more exotic options like lychee, red bean, and purple rice.
The dessert shop also offers Japanese cream puffs and cheesecakes from Love Me Sweet, a bakery partner based in Ontario. Unique flavors offered include hojicha, durian, and matcha tiramisu varieties.
The website for Hey Yogurt recently confirmed their expansion into Hoboken, although no official opening date has been announced. Those interested in updates regarding Hey Yogurt’s expansion can follow the brand on Instagram at the handle @heyyogurtus.
