Despite the relocation of Prato Bakery, their former Downtown Jersey City home will still be serving sweet homemade treats in the near future.
A new business called Enna Bakery is currently renovating the space at 61 Erie Street, also seeking to fill several positions. Little is known about the shop’s menu, influence, or culinary feel, other than a logo released online and a sign that’s been placed over construction-papered windows at the property. The bakery recently launched a website that allows people to sign up for a newsletter to receive updates about their progress.
A Facebook page launched on June 21 also contains little information, other than to say the shop will be opening “soon.” If more information becomes available, we will update accordingly.
