Residents of Jersey City and Hoboken, as well as a prominent suburb, will soon be getting a new veterinary option as one of New York City’s largest practices is expanding to New Jersey.
Bond Vet, a female-led, veterinarian-founded company that focuses on strengthening the human-animal bond through access to better pet care, has announced they will be expanding to New Jersey in a big way. Their initial locations will be at 1425 Washington Street in Hoboken, Jersey City’s 351 Marin development, and at 3410 Route 22 in Union Township.
The business offers both primary care and urgent care veterinary services including wellness exams, vaccines, spay/neuters, as well as surgeries, dental cleanings, international health certificates, and more.
Bond Vet aims to reimagine the whole veterinary experience for pets, pet parents, and veterinary teams with calm, comfortable spaces, a tech-savvy experience for booking and medical records, and thoughtful approaches to treatment plans.
“We pioneered the concept of urgent care in New York, and we’ve seen great traction — we’re clearly filling a need for modern pets and pet parents,” says Mo Punjani, co-founder and CEO of Bond Vet. The company has big expansion plans, raising $170 million from Warburg Pincus last year to bring Bond Vet’s services to more markets along the East Coast.
Bond Vet has plans to open several other New Jersey outposts over the next year but have not disclosed any locations for future outposts.
