There is good news for fans of one East Coast fast-casual restaurant chain who live or work in Jersey City. B.GOOD has revealed that it will be opening a second restaurant in the city, this time near Exchange Place.
The Boston-based franchise’s latest location will open in Suite 140 of 30 Montgomery Street, located on the ground floor of the office building. The restaurant is expected to open this summer, according to company spokesperson Colin Geaghan.
B.GOOD’s menu includes kale and grain bowls, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and milkshakes. The company currently has five other Garden State locations, including one at Jersey City’s Newport Tower. Geaghan told Jersey Digs that the Newport restaurant will still remain open when the new location opens less than a mile away.
30 Montgomery Street was renovated a few years ago and four retail spaces on the ground floor saw and continue to see significant changes. The westernmost space is now occupied by CAVA while B.GOOD will take the easternmost space. According to Onyx Equities, a Bluestone Lane Coffee location will open in the space next to CAVA, but the coffee company did not immediately return a request for confirmation.
