What It Is: Hamburg Antique Center is another excellent antique and vintage store in Sussex County. This family-owned dealer shop focuses on vintage antiques and collectibles, offered by 40 individual vendors.

Antique Specialties: Hamburg Antique Center lists its primary focus as vintage furniture, but there’s plenty of unique finds to discover here. We found a vintage camera that dates to 1897, a vintage printer’s plate of a European map, and a gorgeous antique spongeware bowl on our last visit.

Hamburg Antique Center’s collection of 40 vendors ensures there’s always a strong, diverse offering of antique goods. The center is closed most federal holidays — check their website for official dates and times of operation.

A Family Treasure organizes its inventory as well as any other store we researched. They sort their vintage items both alphabetically and by genre, so you won’t feel overwhelmed shopping.

Antique Specialties: Elwood Antiques started as a collection of carnival glass, and the glassware selection here is excellent. South Jersey has a proud glassmaking tradition, and this store represents it very well.

Vintage jewelry is also in abundance at Elwood Antiques, in addition to a good assortment of tableware. There’s a bit of a “rustic beach” vibe to certain corners of the store.
