Changes are continuing at the Harborside complex in Jersey City. Now, a source tells Jersey Digs that a WeWork location could be in the works for 2 Harborside Place.

The Jersey City-based real estate giant has taken over a local parking lot and has revealed that it could be used for residential development.

Local real estate firm Mack-Cali is set to acquire 648 units in the Paulus Hook as the firm expands its Jersey City holdings.

A proposal to bring 300 apartments and a parking garage near Weehawken Waterfront Park could go before the Weehawken Planning Board this week.

A lease to open a store near the city’s waterfront has been signed and the company will also be opening their northeast headquarters inside a Mack-Cali property.

The owner of Harborside in Jersey City is looking to acquire another liquor license for the property.

Almost 13,000 square feet just off the building’s atrium have been transformed into a food marketplace featuring 13 diverse vendors plus a bar serving drinks.

Rumors about the grocery giant opening a Downtown market appear to be true, and the company looks like they will also be setting up their Northeast corporate headquarters along the waterfront.

As one developer exits, another stakes a claim in downtown Jersey City's emerging Lackawanna/Soho West neighborhood. 

Improvements by Mack-Cali include new routes, lounge areas, and original work by a local photographer commissioned by Art House Productions.
