Construction is ramping up at the company’s latest Journal Square project, which will include 588 residences, a synagogue and pre-school, and a party hall.

A development with multiple phases is moving forward in Jersey City. The first phase is already under construction and the developer just received a key approval to bring three additional towers to Journal Square.

A Jersey City synagogue will be torn down and replaced with a mixed-use high-rise. The proposed 27-story building would be one of three new towers to be constructed in this part of Journal Square.

Over 750 units, along with retail space and a pedestrian plaza, could be built in the middle of a residential Jersey City neighborhood.
