Fast, quality, and healthy is the new lunch time mantra. So it’s no surprise, Grabbagreen, an Arizona-based fast-casual concept known for their fresh and healthy alternative to fast food, is experiencing rapid growth. They’re now making their northeastern debut with a new store in Downtown Newark.
“It’s great to bring a new, health-focused concept to the area and we are excited to help Grabbagreen grow in the tri-state area,” says David Townes of Ripco, who handled the lease for Grabbagreen.
The restaurant will be located alongside Starbucks and Nike in the Prudential “Shoppes on Broad”. A grand opening is scheduled for Tuesday, December 13th.
Founded in 2013, Grabbagreen is a restaurant where great tasting, healthy food meets the speed and convenience of traditional fast food. Grabbagreen’s Eat Clean menu is preservative-free, naturally gluten-free and GMO free. The whole food menu is based on super food ingredients and offers a full selection of grain and green-based bowls with fresh hormone-free and antibiotic-free proteins provided by local farms, fresh-pressed juice, handcrafted smoothies and acai bowls, breakfast and healthy kid-friendly items.
“We are excited to offer a tasty, quick and healthy food option to those living, working and visiting downtown,” says Stephen Hudson of BeinGreen, Inc, who will be developing 20 locations throughout Northern New Jersey. “There are a lot of busy people that live here, work here or visit downtown Newark as one of the busiest hubs outside of Manhattan.”
Ripco says the company is actively searching for more New Jersey locations.
