A unique dining experience specializing in tapas from a celebrity chef dubbed Casa De Lobo has launched inside a prominent space in Downtown Jersey City.
Casa De Lobo, a members only restaurant, translates to “house of the wolf” and features an exotic woods theme. The endeavor comes courtesy of chef Darryl Harmon, who ran the kitchens at New York City’s Clinton Hall and Slate Rooftop and has also been featured on the Food Network.
Situated inside the VB3 restaurant at 475 Washington Blvd, Casa De Lobo imports high-quality fresh meats and aims to elevate the dining experience. The space is accessed by a secret door and serves up artisan tapas alongside crafty cocktails featuring rare liquors from around the globe.
“We go into it every day thinking we are only as good as our last plate,” says Sous Chef Rudy Straker. “This is why we make sure everything that goes out of our kitchen is given equal attention to detail and flavor.
Casa De Lobo pitches itself as the perfect destination for those who seek exclusivity, savory dishes, and an escape into a whimsical environment. A membership with the business provides access to exclusive events and they currently offer dinner service from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. Thursday through Sunday.
Those interested can apply for a membership through the restaurant’s website and Casa De Lobo can be followed on Instagram at the handle @casadelobojc.
