Weehawken for-sale luxury developments Henley on Hudson and 1200 Avenue at Port Imperial, totaling 304 units, are soon approaching close-out, developer Lennar said last week.
Henley on Hudson, a 201-home development at 200 Cambridge Way is fully complete and offering immediate occupancy for remaining units. At 1200 Avenue at Port Imperial, the model homes are now being sold themselves, including one three-bedroom furnished model and two staged homes available for tours.
“We are thrilled with the way they have been embraced by residents and, while we are proud that a full sell out is on the horizon, we are also glad that we still have the opportunity to welcome some new home buyers to both communities,” Craig Klingensmith, division president for Lennar said in a news release.
Available units at Henley on Hudson range from $875,000 to $2.5 million in price and include one-, two-, and three-bedroom floorplans with 1,165 to 1,964 square feet of space.
Homes at 1200 Avenue at Port Imperial range from $1.399 to $3.75 million in price. All homes feature Brazilian Chestnut flooring and kitchens with GE appliances. Some residences also offer outdoor space as large as 484 square feet.
The developer expects the expansion of the Weehawken Recreational Park to continue driving demand in the Port Imperial section of the township. The location, relative to the Port Imperial ferry terminal and the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail, is a significant town amenity for buyers, according to the developer.
“Both Henley on Hudson and 1200 Avenue at Port Imperial demonstrate Lennar’s commitment to creating exceptional luxury residences on the Weehawken waterfront that offer modern lifestyle amenities, views of the Manhattan skyline, and an easy commute into the city,” Klingensmith said in a news release.
Lennar said the communities have benefited from Weehawken’s property tax reduction from 2.23 percent to 1.49 percent.
1200 Avenue at Port Imperial is the second development in Weekhawken for Lennar who opened the residences on June 2016 and also developed 1000 Ave at Port Imperial.
