A reader sent us a tip that NYC healthy lunch chain Just Salad is coming to Newport.
The popular salad chain has 30 locations in NYC, Chicago, Hong Kong and Dubai. Newport will be their first outpost in New Jersey.

Known mainly for their salads, they also serve up soups, smoothies, and wraps. Over the years, they’ve built up a loyal following with their reusable bowl program which offers free toppings when customers come back with a bowl. During lunch hours in Manhattan, you can see lines of customers snaked around the block, most holding these reusable bowls.
The company was founded in 2008 with the “promise to provide quality, healthy food in a fast, responsible, yet affordable way.” Their menu regularly features produce from local farms alongside organic and non-GMO options.
Hoping to tap into the waterfront lunch market, they will join the recently opened Chipotle in Newport Tower at 525 Washington Blvd.
