This Thursday (9/8/16), Michael Amodeo & Co will hold an auction at the well-known Teak on the Hudson restaurant and nightclub in Hoboken. According to its website, Teak is NJ’s #1 Restaurant & Nightclub.
The auction is for the contents of the restaurant, not the business itself. Highlights of the giant 2 story, 10,000 square foot asian themed restaurant include life-sized bronze statues, water fountains, asian artifacts, as well as high-end lighting and chandeliers.
For those in the market for restaurant furnishings, the sale will auction off 200 dining room chairs, 75 wood tables, 75 bar stools, 2 sushi display cases, 100” TV, as well as sound and lighting equipment.
The kitchen equipment is for sale too which includes, pots, pans, utensils, china dinnerware, flatware, glassware and trays.
A representative at Michael Amodeo & Co made clear that the business is not for sale. Which leaves us to speculate that the owners maybe paving the way for a relaunch under a new concept. We’ll keep you posted if we get more information.
