Nearly eight months after Jersey Digs first reported on plans to open a Grisini Food Hall at the new American Dream Meadowlands complex in East Rutherford, additional information has been released about the upcoming venue along with new renderings.
In a statement issued last week, a spokesperson for Manhattan-based Grisini announced that the company’s food hall on the second floor of the mall is expected to consist of 24 different stands, ranging from a bakery and creperie to a pizza counter and pasta station.
A raw bar is also in the works for the space, which is now being referred to as “Grisini by Chef Marc Murphy” due to the Food Network “Chopped” judge’s newly revealed involvement in the project.
A couple of Grisini coffee shops will be housed elsewhere in the mall.
Although part of American Dream Meadowlands will be opening to the public later this month, the Grisini Food Hall is reportedly not slated to open until early next year. The Grisini space is expected to be one of multiple dining options of its kind in the mall and will join a kosher food court and a MUNCHIES Food Hall.
