A brand-new yoga studio has opened in the heart of Journal Square. At 2800 Kennedy Boulevard, Golden Feather Yoga was founded by lifelong friends Gardner Rivera and Bevin Murphy who wanted to give Journal Square something much needed in the midst of the building boom–“a place of wellness, a place that was accessible for the current community as well as the new community that is being developed here in Jersey City,” said Gardner Rivera.
On the second floor of the former Natural Motion Beauty School in the triangular building on the corner of Sip Avenue and Kennedy Boulevard, the studio is open to all levels. “Our mission is to foster balanced wellness for every individual.” Bevin Murphy said. “We want to nurture the mind, body, and soul.”
Golden Feather Yoga’s practice is grounded in “The Culture of Giving” and its primary intention is to be the place to start a journey to complete wellness. Hit the mat for a complete mind-body connection and some tranquility above bustling Journal Square.
