Residents of The Heights officially have a new supermarket option in walking distance of their homes as Gabriel’s Market is officially fully stocked and open in Jersey City.
The market, which spans 2,750 square feet at 508 Central Avenue, is situated inside a newer building near the Union City border. The business soft-opened in late June and held a grand opening event on July 11.
Gabriel’s Market offers a wide variety of fresh produce including organic selections along with supermarket staples like frozen foods and more. The space includes a full meat and deli section where fresh ground meat is made on-site.
The business is just steps from Washington Park and is now open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily except Sundays, with operating hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Gabriel’s Market can be followed on Instagram at the handle @gabrielsmarketjc.
