Hamilton Park’s newest rental building, Embankment House, has officially begun leasing. The unique property sits atop the old stone embankment formerly used by railroad cars operated by the Erie Railroad.
Up for offer are 163 new studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom residences, ranging in size from 510 square feet to 1,280 square feet. The industrial inspired units feature high ceilings, oversized windows, and railroad lighting. Kitchens are equipped with stainless steel Whirlpool appliances, subway tile backsplashes, European-inspired wood cabinetry and dark grey quartz countertops. Bathrooms feature modern fixtures, porcelain tile flooring and white subway tiling.
Developed by Newport Associates Development Company, it’s the company’s first project outside of Newport. The building was designed by Poskanzer Skott, a full-service architecture firm, based in New Jersey. The development was awarded “Best Architecture Project” in 2015 by Mid Atlantic Real Estate Journal, which recognized the firm’s sophisticated planning and design.
Amenities at Embankment House include a landscaped outdoor lounge with sections for BBQ grilling; bike storage; a package delivery room; a part-time doorman; and on-site parking. The building also has a fitness center, residents’ lounge and children’s playroom with free WiFi service throughout. Onsite parking is available for a fee.
An onsite leasing office is now open at Embankment House.
