Affordable Housing

Jersey City’s planning board unanimously voted against changes that would allow Mack-Cali to shift their project’s required affordable housing to another development they own on Washington Boulevard.

The new Jersey City community will provide affordable housing along with onsite supportive services for veterans and at-risk populations.

Jersey City recently approved an ordinance that will vacate publicly owned land to facilitate the project, which will need to include affordable housing.
