You’ll also find a strong variety of antique jewelry and vintage clothing inside Andover Village. Offerings vary with the season — in summer, expect to see outdoor wares, hand painted garden items and even vintage wagons.

Bedford Galleries of New Jersey

What It Is: Bedford Galleries of New Jersey is a sister store to its Brooklyn location. They offer delivery to North Jersey, Central Jersey, and all five New York City boroughs.
Antique Specialties: Bedford Galleries is primarily a buyer and seller of vintage and antique furniture. Most of their best pieces are mid-century modern furniture items like dressers, tables, desks and seating.
If you’re looking for 1950s and 1960s style in your home furnishings, take a visit to Bedford Galleries in North Bergen. They also sell vintage homewares that range from more conventional to eclectic.

Hamburg Antique Center

What It Is: Hamburg Antique Center is another excellent antique and vintage store in Sussex County. This family-owned dealer shop focuses on vintage antiques and collectibles, offered by 40 individual vendors.
Antique Specialties: Hamburg Antique Center lists its primary focus as vintage furniture, but there’s plenty of unique finds to discover here. We found a vintage camera that dates to 1897, a vintage printer’s plate of a European map, and a gorgeous antique spongeware bowl on our last visit.
Hamburg Antique Center’s collection of 40 vendors ensures there’s always a strong, diverse offering of antique goods. The center is closed most federal holidays — check their website for official dates and times of operation.

Into the Void Antiques

What It Is: Into the Void Antiques is a Jersey City antique shop that also offers eclectic art pieces. They serve fresh coffee and curated espresso drinks as well.
Antique Specialties: For vintage enthusiasts, Into the Void is a treasure trove. The art pieces are bold, bright and colorful and the vintage furniture options are plentiful.

A Family Treasure

Antique Specialties: While A Family Treasure doesn’t specialize in one category of antiques, we like their folk art, table lamps, and vintage jewelry collection. They also have a wide variety of ornamental statues and pop art figurines.
A Family Treasure organizes its inventory as well as any other store we researched. They sort their vintage items both alphabetically and by genre, so you won’t feel overwhelmed shopping.

What It Is: The Antique Center of Red Bank was established 60 years ago, and has grown to a true mecca of antique shopping. With over 100 dealers spanning two air conditioned buildings, this antique collective is a destination for vintage collectors, dealers and even movie set designers!
Antique Specialties: Where to start? Furniture, home decor, pottery, fine silver, glassware, china, jewelry, collectibles, figurines, art — it’s all here.

Antique Emporium of Asbury Park

What It Is: The Antique Emporium offers 20,000 square feet of antique shopping in the heart of Asbury Park. Locals flock here for all their vintage collecting needs — they’ve even been visited by Bruce Springsteen and Patti Scialfa.
Antique Specialties: Like other large antique centers, there isn’t a “specialty” here. However, collectibles and historic items are in ample supply, as are vintage clothing items (especially women’s clothing).

Elwood Antiques

What It Is: Elwood Antiques is one of the longest-running, well-regarded antique shops in South Jersey. With over 40 years of experience, the owners (Bruce and Dennis) curate items worldwide but place special emphasis on South Jersey creations.
Antique Specialties: Elwood Antiques started as a collection of carnival glass, and the glassware selection here is excellent. South Jersey has a proud glassmaking tradition, and this store represents it very well.
Vintage jewelry is also in abundance at Elwood Antiques, in addition to a good assortment of tableware. There’s a bit of a “rustic beach” vibe to certain corners of the store.

Grist Mill Antiques Center

What It Is: Since 1994, Grist Mill Antiques Center has served Pemberton with a cooperative of 125 dealers. It’s been covered by MarthaStewart.com and developed a reputation as a ‘destination shop’ for home decor and small collectibles.
Antique Specialties: Check out the table wares at Grist Mill Antiques — their plate sets, bowls, pitchers, vases and glassware collections are all in abundance. There’s a strong inventory of home decor and accessories as a whole.

What It Is: This bright yellow storefront is a classic slice of Cape May shopping. 15 consignors and dealers display their wares at TreeHouse Antiques, and items vary from affordable pieces to fine antique furniture and artwork.
Antique Specialties: There’s a good blend of vintage household items and high-end art and furniture at TreeHouse Antiques. Stained glass and glassware, both from South Jersey and elsewhere, are fun finds. The art pieces here, while not always inexpensive, are beautiful.
