‘Rumba Cubana’ Opening Hamilton Park Outpost

A popular North Hudson Cuban restaurant is expanding south to Jersey City and will be taking up residence in a soon-to-open development.

Rumba Cubana, who have locations in North Bergen and in Guttenberg along JFK Boulevard East, just signed on to lease retail space on the ground floor of SILVERMAN’s upcoming Park Francis building. The company, who are officially opening the latest property on Tuesday, recently announced Rumba Cubana’s signing on their Instagram account.

The restaurant’s food selection includes entrees of traditional Cuban fare like Churrasco, Ropa Veija and Pollo Aguacate. Rumba Cubana also sports a tapas-style menu featuring bocaditos, or small slider-style Cuban sandwiches with slightly sweet rolls.

The restaurant’s other locations are open for lunch and feature daily specials, so let’s hope their Hamilton Park spot does the same. Rumba Cubana looks to open their JC outpost at 235 Pavonia Avenue this fall.
