A new Indian restaurant has opened in The Heights neighborhood of Jersey City.
EggCurry opened its doors at 280 Central Avenue near the corner of Hutton Street, according to the Central Avenue Special Improvement District. A grand opening for the business, which advertises “delicious Indian food” at “discounted prices,” was held last Saturday afternoon. It is open for lunch and dinner daily except for Tuesday.
According to EggCurry’s website, there are a plethora of items on the menu, ranging from boiled masala eggs and french toast to rice and eggs with Indian gravy and chili garlic noodles.
The space, located next to the North District police precinct, was previously occupied by A Little Gelato, Amrit Taste of India, and Casablanca Express. This is the second Indian restaurant on Central Avenue after Chef of India.
