Starting on Sunday, the Taco Truck’s brick and mortar location in Hoboken will close for renovations. It will reopen next Friday, October 14th, with a new and improved look. The restaurant’s facelift reinstates The Taco Truck magic, bringing new equipment, flooring, menu displays, artwork and interior design to the space. Loyal taco lovers need not fear – all of the tacos, tortas and burritos that have made The Taco Truck a Hoboken staple won’t be going anywhere.
Priding itself on serving authentic Mexican street food made from all natural, high quality ingredients, the refresh comes as The Taco Truck enters its sixth year in the space. Founded by New Jersey residents Jason Scott and Chris Viola, The Taco Truck started as a roaming food truck. They opened their first brick-and-mortar location in Hoboken in 2010, and have opened various other stores and kiosks since.
“As we spread our taco dream throughout the Northeast, Hoboken remains the heart of our company,” said Scott, CEO, The Taco Truck. “We are dedicated to providing our loyal local customers with an authentic experience and anticipate these renovations will allow the community to continue to enjoy the high quality food and service they have grown to love for many years to come.”
The Taco Truck unveils its new look with a grand reopening party beginning at 12:00pm on Friday, October 14th. The celebration features a DJ and samples of the popular menu items, as well as the full menu of Mexican street food.
