Teresa Giudice has significantly cut the asking price of her Montville house. A piece of ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ history can be yours for a bit less dough following a significant price reduction at one of the state’s more infamous homes.
Teresa Giudice has officially re-listed her 9,765-square foot mansion in the Towaco section of Montville, a property that has been featured prominently during the reality TV show’s run. Built in 2008 on 3.7 acres of land, the home was initially put up for sale in 2020 at the asking price of $2.5 million.
Giudice later reduced the listing to $2.248 million in January 2021 and allegedly found a buyer last year. But the New York Post recently reported that the deal fell apart following a nine-month escrow process.
Now listed with Michelle Pais of Signature Realty for $1.999 million, the home features stone and stucco on the exterior and sports six bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms. Guests are welcomed into the two-story home by an expansive great room that comes complete with a “Cinderella staircase,” soaring ceilings, and a wood-burning fireplace.
The home’s gourmet kitchen features a large granite island, a suite of high-end appliances, and a butler’s pantry that leads to a private wine cellar, while the home’s master suite features three walk-in closets and a plush dressing room illuminated by a chandelier. Other amenities of the master suite include a gas fireplace, a private balcony, a sitting area, and an ensuite bath finished with a Jacuzzi.
The grounds of the home feature lots of greenery, a heated in-ground pool, and a fountain water feature. The property also houses a three-car attached garage and a two-car detached garage. Property taxes at the house will set you back $44,431/year.
The house has a bit of listing history outside of the last two years despite never changing hands. It was placed on the market in September 2014 for just under $4 million, with the asking price being slashed by $1 million in January 2015.
A lot has changed since then, as Teresa Giudice finalized her divorce from her ex-husband, Joe, in 2020. The former couple both served prison sentences stemming from various fraud charges, with Joe Giudice later being deported to Italy.
Teresa, who will appear on the upcoming 12th season of ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ that is set to premiere next month, purchased a new house in Montville last year for $2.25 million with boyfriend Luis Ruelas.
