Prism Capital Partners recently announced that three new retail tenants have signed leases at The Shoppes at Edison Village in West Orange, New Jersey.
The new retail tenants are BK Lobster, Golden Aide Health & Pharmacy, and SportsMed Physical Therapy, which have leased a combined 7,700 square feet.
BK Lobster, a Brooklyn-created, fast-casual dining restaurant, is leasing a 3,000-square-foot site with outdoor seating. Golden Aide Health & Pharmacy, a local independent pharmacy, has committed to 1,700 square feet. Meanwhile, SportsMed Physical Therapy, which has a chain of 24 locations throughout New Jersey and Connecticut, will open a 3,000-square-foot location.
Deb Stone from RIPCO Real Estate represented Edison Village as retail leasing agent for the BK Lobster and Golden Aide Health & Pharmacy leases, while Judith Feldman and Jeannette Melillo from Newmark represented the landlord in the SportsMed Physical Therapy deal.
“Prism is thrilled to welcome these value-add retail tenants to the dynamic Edison Village community,” said Jon Hoff, Senior Vice President of Management Services. “Each will serve the local community while providing an added amenity and convenience for residents at Edison Lofts, which reached full occupancy this fall.”
The Shoppes at Edison Village is part of the redevelopment of Thomas Edison’s historic Invention Factory and Commerce Center. The new retail tenants are expected to open in late winter/early spring 2022.
