A steakhouse chain with locations around the world is going to open a restaurant inside an upscale Essex County shopping center.
Ruth’s Chris Steak House is planning a location at The Mall at Short Hills in Millburn Township, according to the company’s website. The mall is located near the intersection of JFK Parkway, Route 24, and Route 124 by the borders of Morris and Union counties.
The location, which is currently hiring, will be one of several Ruth’s Chris outposts in the Garden State. The Florida-based chain already has restaurants in Atlantic City, Jersey City, Paramus, Parsippany, Plainsboro, and Weehawken.
The mall’s website shows that the Ruth’s Chris in Short Hills will offer private event spaces and be situated on the lower level near Tiffany & Co. and Neiman Marcus.
