White Eagle Hall has hired Webster Hall alum Heath Miller, founder of Excess db Entertainment, as its exclusive talent buyer and an awesome line-up of indie, punk, and alternative rock bands have already been booked, including New Found Glory on November 7th!
Mr. Miller is an industry veteran and has been lining up the talent at small and mid-size venues in New Jersey and New York City for twenty years. In addition to his exclusive work for White Eagle Hall, he will continue to book exclusively for Webster Hall and Mexicali Live (Teaneck, NJ) as well as non-exclusively for NYC venues Stage 48, Highline Ballroom, and Le Poisson Rouge.
Besides New Found Glory’s November show which will be part of their 20th anniversary tour, the impressive new list includes Belleville native and former My Chemical Romance band member’s solo project Frank Iero & the Patience (7/22), psychedelic icon Roky Erickson (9/8), and Durham, NC-based indie folk rock band The Mountain Goats (11/10).
Mr. Miller’s experience, industry contacts, and commitment to programming as diverse as Jersey City will be an invaluable resource for White Eagle Hall as the venue begins to take its place on the scene. “I look forward to helping establish Jersey City as a destination for live music and a tour stop for bands,” said Mr. Miller. “If you want to see something or someone specific, please, tell us! Help us help you have a great evening out–no crossing a river necessary.”
