Today, Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop will join Santomauro General Contracting and Point Capital Development for a ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the grand opening of Mill Rocks, a hip new rental building in the Village neighborhood.
Developed by Santomauro General Contracting and Point Capital Development, the new building at 361 Newark Avenue is the newest and one of the largest rental buildings in the neighborhood. It features 39 modernly designed 1- and 2-bedroom units.
Santomauro General Contracting handled the construction of the property. Founded by James Santomauro and now led by Billy Santomauro, Santomauro General Contracting is a versatile general contracting firm with hands-on expertise in all areas of construction, management, and development.
The ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for Friday, November 4th at 3pm in front of the building. It is open to the public. All are welcome to join the Mill Rocks team celebrate the official grand opening.
Mill Rocks is centrally located near numerous shops and restaurants. The recently opened Madame Claud Bis, Cellar 335 and the soon-to-open White Eagle Hall are all two blocks away. For the commuters, it’s only 7 blocks straight down Newark Ave to the PATH at Grove Street.
One-bedrooms start at $1,850 and average around 650 square feet. Two-bedrooms come in around 1,000 square feet and start at $2,800. Due to the unique shape of the building, there are various floor plans from which to choose. Bring your furry friends as the building is also pet-friendly.
