A national fast-food chain on a prominent corner of Hoboken’s Washington Street has been refreshed with a new layout as a McDonald’s outpost has re-opened with some technological upgrades.
McDonald’s Owner/Operator Doug Damiano has unveiled his newly renovated store at 234 Washington Street. Following a two-week refresh, the location features a new layout, upgraded kitchen equipment, and a modern dining room for local customers to enjoy.
The restaurant also added one additional ordering kiosk, making three total. This is the second major renovation the store has undergone in recent years; longer-term residents will remember the old school “McDonaldland” sign that once adorned the front of the building.
Damiano owns seven McDonald’s restaurants across New Jersey alongside his brother Joseph. Their other locations are in Edison, Menlo Park, Bayonne, Edgewater, Fort Lee, and Northvale.
