Introducing the Hamilton House, a rental building under construction in Hamilton Park. Located at 364 9th Street aka 255 Brunswick St in Jersey City, the 130,000 square foot building will house 75 rental units and 16,000 square feet of retail/office space.
Designed by Fogarty Finger, who also designed The Art House, the new building which is located in the Hamilton Park Historic District, hopes to complement the brick row houses of the district.
The 1.8 acres property was purchased by an LLC in Dec 2012 for $5.3 million. At the time there was an existing 80,000 sf warehouse on the land.
Hamilton House is being marketed by JCity Realty and they’ve launched a teaser site in anticipation of a early 2016 opening.
This is the first phase of a larger 340,000 sf project.
