A large vacant parcel in Long Branch along the Jersey Shore is slated to be transformed into a high-end multi-family complex as approvals are in place for a massive undertaking called The Atlantic Club.
Stillman Development International, Surrey Equities, and Gotham City Real Estate form the ownership team for the project, which will soon rise at 390 Ocean Avenue. The Atlantic Club’s dual high-rises were approved by Long Branch’s planning board back in April and will include a total of 132 condominiums.
Many of the residences in the property will offer unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean, with prices ranging from $1.12 million to more than $5.95 million. Sales have already launched at the complex, which is expected to be completed in 2025.
“Our vision for The Atlantic Club is to bring a meticulously crafted residential enclave: an art ecosystem inspired by beach serenity and charm, but with an urbane sense of style and elegance,” said Stillman Development International President Roy Stillman. “The Jersey Shore was America’s first fully developed coastline and The Atlantic Club harkens back to the golden age of the Shore and is on par with the very best of world-class coastal living.”
Shore Point Architecture is leading the design of the building alongside a slew of designers that include the famed Cristina Grajales Gallery in Tribeca.
The residences themselves are slated to include kitchen islands with imported porcelain countertops and waterfall-style surroundings, while the building’s 75,000 square feet of amenities will include an expansive pool deck, fire pits and barbecue grills, a fitness center, a game room with billiards, a dedicated virtual reality room, a movie theater, pet spa, and children’s playroom.
Long Branch, home to notable revitalizations like Pier Village, has started to emerge as an under the radar development hot spot as of late. Several multi-family projects on Second Street and Third Avenue have recently broken ground in the city, which is situated about halfway between Sandy Hook and Asbury Park.
