The Village is teaming with proposed development projects. Unlike the waterfront, the Village doesn’t allow high-rises so instead developers are planning shorter infill projects that blend well with the streetscape and add character and amenities to the neighborhood. Designed by Minervini Vandermark, the proposed building at 318 Newark Ave is no different, paying homage to the neighboring townhouses it incorporates some of the same facade characteristics with some modern flair added.
Developed by BGT Enterprises, the new project will contain 50 luxury condos units. It will also bring 4,895 square feet of street level retail to the currently vacant lot, further adding to the continuity of the Newark Ave retail corridor.
