A 13th Trader Joe’s in New Jersey is set to open in North Brunswick. Formerly a Barnes & Noble, the 14,500 square foot space in the North Village Shopping Center on Route 1 is being divided house four tenants. Mayor Francis Womack said in a statement, “We are pleased to welcome a Trader Joe’s grocery store to the North Brunswick community.”
This will be the first store in Middlesex County. Most recently, Trader Joe’s opened in Hoboken in the new Harlow rental building at 1350 Willow Avenue on May 19th.
Trader Joe’s is popular and profitable in every market they enter and certainly North Brunswick will be no exception. The grocery store “searches the world for great values and distinctive products that both appeal to the culinary adventurer and microwave aficionado.”
