A residential development is in the works for a Bergen County property that is situated just feet from the Hudson County line.
Developer 1 Bergen Sixboro, LLC is planning a six-story project at 1 Bergen Boulevard in Fairview near North Bergen, according to a January 9 notice of hearing. Should the development be approved and ultimately built as currently proposed, it would reportedly include approximately 97 units.
Few additional details have been released yet about the plans, but the notice says that two stories of on-site parking would be provided as part of the project. There would be a total of 158 parking spaces.
State business filings show that 1 Bergen Sixboro, LLC was incorporated in February 2020 out of Hoboken, while property records indicate that the parcel is owned by Cana Realty Corp.
Located near the Boulevard Diner, the site has been home to Keil & Bobken’s and, in more recent years, Tullo Oil. New Jersey Transit’s 154 bus to Manhattan’s Port Authority Bus Terminal stops next to the premises on weekdays and Saturdays.
The application is scheduled to go before the Fairview Zoning Board of Adjustment on Thursday, January 21, at 7:30 p.m., according to the notice. Site plan approval and multiple variances are being sought.
Note to readers: The dates that applications are scheduled to be heard by the Fairview Zoning Board of Adjustment and other commissions are subject to change.
