There will soon be another place to exercise near the Hudson River waterfront in Jersey City.
Orangetheory Fitness will be opening a location on the ground floor of 475 Washington Boulevard, according to David Greenman of Silbert Realty & Management. It will be housed within the high-rise Monaco complex, which was built at the site of a parking lot in Ward E.
The company, which is based in South Florida, was founded a little over a decade ago and had barely any presence in the Garden State and across the Hudson until the last few years. However, there are now 18 locations across New Jersey, from Bedminster to Brick, with three others coming soon.
Construction inside the site has not begun and it has yet to be revealed what day Jersey City’s Orangetheory Fitness will open its doors. The company will be leasing the space from Mack-Cali’s Roseland company, which was represented by Greenman.
