A European supermarket chain that has expanded greatly throughout New Jersey in recent years will be adding another location in the heart of Bergen County as Lidl will soon launch their latest store in Paramus.
Lidl, an international grocer that operates more than 12,000 stores in 31 countries, will be opening on February 12 inside space at 651 Route 17. The fun starts early at 7:40 a.m. with an official ribbon cutting for the market, which is located along one of the busiest commercial highways in New Jersey.
The Paramus store will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. when up and running. Lidl offers a curated collection of private label picks, global imports, and everyday name brands along with imported cheeses to fresh meats and seafood.
The market is decidedly European inspired compared to more traditional U.S. grocers and features hard-to-find items like specialty sauces and cured meats. Lidl additionally offers freshly baked breads and pastries constantly refilled throughout the day.
In addition to the goods, the company’s MyLidl app offers exclusive app-only deals, including a welcome coupon and a Super Shopper rewards program. Lidl shoppers can also take advantage of their Love It Guarantee that entitles them to a refund and a replacement if they don’t like their purchase.
Lidl US first established its U.S. headquarters in Virginia back in June 2015 and has since expanded their brand to more than 170 stores across nine east coast states and Washington, D.C.
