A hospitality group that owns several venues in Jersey City will be adding another restaurant to their repertoire as Legends FC will be bringing a lively sports atmosphere to the city’s nightlife.
Per Hoboken Girl, the team behind Dorrian’s Red Hand will be bringing a new endeavor to 130 Newark Avenue. The group is renovating the former Tamborim Bar & Grill space into a sports bar that will feature a wide variety of live sporting coverage, DJs and more.
The team behind Legends FC is legit, running a variety of venues in Jersey City, including the nearby Grace O’Malley’s at 140 Newark Avenue, Keyhole Bar, and Irving Public in The Heights. The group is also hoping to take over the old Bobby Dee’s space, as they are looking to transfer the former dive bar’s liquor license.
Guests at Legends FC can look forward to a 24-foot composite LED screen behind the main bar and elevated food options. Items on the upcoming menu include highlights from sports cities like a Fenway Park-style Lobster Roll, a Philly Roast Pork sandwich with long hots, or a Bronx Bomber Arriancini with Pepperoni and Spicy Vodka dipping sauce.
Legends FC does not appear to have established any social media presence just yet, but construction is underway at their 2,100 square foot space. Ownership told Hoboken Girl that they hope to open the restaurant sometime in mid-September.
