A popular fitness company will officially open its first New Jersey outpost in Hoboken. Barry’s Bootcamp has secured space just steps from the Hudson River.
The brand, which specializes in high-intensity workouts, posted on social media over the summer that it was officially coming to Hoboken. Barry’s Bootcamp declined to explicitly state its exact location in Mile Square City, but rumors have been swirling about a Downtown office building.
Hoboken Girl, citing “a source close to the developer on the project,” claims that the gym will be opening at 119 River Street inside space formerly occupied by Jos. A Bank. Barry’s Bootcamp themselves have not officially confirmed the report but has already created a Hoboken-specific page on their website for customers looking to sign up for updates.
Barry’s Bootcamp, founded in 1998, currently operates over 80 studios throughout the country but currently don’t have any in New Jersey. The company has not announced any potential timeline yet as to when their Hoboken outpost could be up and running.
Whenever they arrive, the company will join other popular fitness brands like SoulCycle and [solidcore] that have set up shop in Hoboken in recent years.
