The redevelopment of a former industrial site in Bergen County is almost complete as construction is well underway on the final residential phase of the Rosera Wesmont in Wood-Ridge.
Developer JCMLiving is hard at work completing their vision for a mixed-use transit village just a short walk from NJ Transit’s Wesmont Station in Wood-Ridge. The entirety of the project is revitalizing a 150+ acre parcel once occupied by the Curtiss-Wright aircraft engine manufacturing facility.
Situated at the corner of Wesmont Drive and Passaic Avenue, Rosera Wesmont is adjacent to the borough’s Rosie-the-Riveter Plaza. The final phase will offer a mix of open-concept studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom layouts alongside 35,000 square feet of amenity space and ground-floor retail space fronting Wesmont Drive.
“Rosera Wesmont raises the bar for suburban living at Wesmont Station and marks the extraordinary evolution of this pivotal Wood-Ridge neighborhood from a pre-war-era industrial zone to a beautiful residential neighborhood with easy commutability,” said Aaron Polinsky of JCMLiving, the developer.
“We are excited about this final and most luxurious residential phase of Wesmont Station, which will culminate in a development in which the entire community can take pride,” he added.
In addition to in-unit designer elements and fixtures, smart technology, oversized windows and private balconies, Rosera Wesmont is slated to feature a multi-level hotel-style lobby, a 13,000 square foot pool and sundeck, fitness areas, and sport simulator centers. A 480-space parking garage provides direct access from every level of the building.
The Rosera Wesmont project team includes Minno & Wasko Architects, Childs Dreyfus Interior Design, and general contractor Ingerman Construction. The final section of the development is slated to welcome their first residents during early 2024.
