HomeGoods will open in Bayonne for the first time at 8:00 a.m. on August 26 at South Cove Commons.
“We are happy to provide Bayonne with a local HomeGoods,” HomeGoods president John Ricciuti said in a news release. “Our amazing values, brand names, and vast assortment make HomeGoods an exciting destination for shoppers.”
HomeGoods joins Stop & Shop, TJ Maxx, and Houlihan’s, to name a few, at the shopping center located off Route 440 on LeFante Way. The store is expected to employ up to 65 full- and part-time employees.
In June 2017, landlord and developer of South Cove Commons, the Alessi Organization, received city council approval to develop a 120-room hotel to be operated by Hilton.
Alessi Development is also the manager and developer of the 60,000-square-foot retail center and plaza on East 22nd Street and 440, which will include a Quick Check gas station, Burger King, and Auto Zone.
HomeGoods will open at 9:30 a.m. Monday through Saturday after its opening on August 26.
