Chicago-based self-storage company Metro Self Storage is opening a new 3-story facility in Bergen County along Route 17 in Wood Ridge, New Jersey. Scheduled to open by the end of the year or in early 2018, the Bergen County location at 765 Route 17 will join a handful of Metro Self Storage facilities across the state.
The new location is a ground-up, urban infill development on the former site of Rudox Engine and Equipment Company. The deal was brokered by Anthony and Eugene Rivera of Pure Properties who represented the buyer, Metro Self Storage, and David Thurston of Marcus & Millichap who represented the owner, Rudox. Metro Self Storage also has facilities in Pennsauken, Andover, Stanhope, and Springfield.
Featuring amenities like 24-hour video surveillance, motion-sensor lighting, secure electronic keypad access, elevator access to all floors, security lighting, fire alarms and suppression systems, storage-to-office communications speakers, and professionally trained property managers, the new Metro Self Storage facility will be a helpful addition to the densely populated residential and retail corridor of Route 17 in Wood Ridge.
