A property situated between the John F. Kennedy Boulevard and Tonnelle Avenue corridors in North Bergen could be redeveloped, but few details have been revealed yet about the plans.
Plans to bring a multi-family building to 6217 Meadowview Avenue are on the agenda for the North Bergen Zoning Board of Adjustment’s special meeting on Thursday, February 27, at 6:00 p.m. A complex with 108 residential units and 113 parking spaces is being proposed for the property, according to a legal notice.
Unlike the vast majority of development proposals in Northern New Jersey, the entity that is seeking approval in connection with this project is not a development firm or anonymous LLC. Instead, the Estate of Gertrude Rich is listed as the applicant associated with the plans for 6217 Meadowview Avenue.
The parcel, which is also known as 6217-33 Meadowview Avenue, is situated near 62nd Street and Grand Avenue. Back in December 2018, Kaltsis Architects posted a rendering for a proposed 12-story building with 120 units on the premises.
