Fox Run, a partially completed development at Mount Hope Avenue and Construction Road in Rockaway within the Fox Hills at Rockaway development, is set to be auctioned on November 15. According to Max Spann Real Estate & Auction Co., the auctioning entity, the 20-acre site consists of a partially finished 42-unit building, a partially finished foundation for an adjacent 42-unit building, and a detention pond.
Max Spann said it will hold property previews on October 2 and 9, before accepting bids on November 15. Site grading, sanitary sewer services, and municipal water services have already been installed at the site, the auctioneer said.
The existing three-story building, comprising 71,748 square feet with 14 one- and two-bedroom units per floor, was originally approved as the final phase of the Fox Hills at Rockaway community, a 660-unit active adult development immediately adjacent to Exit 35A of Interstate 80.
Fox Hills at Rockaway is located half a mile from Rockaway Mall.
The site to be auctioned is located next to the Rockaway Township Public Library, the Rockaway Township Police Department, and is proximal to the Fox Ridge Club. The Dover NJ Transit station is located 2.5 miles from Fox Hills at Rockaway.
