While there’s plenty of new construction to be found up and down the Gold Coast, high-rise living often comes with a high price. Last week, renters gained another option, as the intimate, 48-unit Grand27 began leasing in North Bergen.
Grand27 offers a happy medium to renters who want the perks and privileges of new construction, but not necessarily the hustle and bustle that often go with it in this area. Instead, Grand27 represents a quiet residential setting with easy access to the city, whether by car via the Lincoln Tunnel or mass transit, thanks to direct NJ TRANSIT service to the Port Authority one block away.
Grand27 is a five-story building containing 48 one- and two-bedroom residences, with rents starting at $1,950, and immediate occupancy available. The developer is Applied Companies, a firm with a significant revitalization footprint in Hoboken.
“Grand27 delivers a modern living experience in a five-story building that fits the scale of its surrounding residential setting,” said Joseph Barry, Applied Companies founder. “With private amenities, a 15-minute commute into Manhattan and proximity to dining and shopping, Grand27 provides all of the elements desired for a dynamic, urban lifestyle.”
Amenities available to residents at Grand27 include a Wi-Fi connected fitness center with Technogym equipment, flexible community/conference space, a Concierge Smart locker system for package delivery and dry cleaning, secure keyless building entry with smartphone access, and onsite parking, both surface and enclosed.
As for the units, there are seven different floor plans with open layouts, high ceilings, and natural sunlight. Some even overlook the Meadowlands or New York City. Homes include Caesarstone countertops, stainless steel GE appliances, and in-unit washer/dryer.
Grand27 is also pet-friendly, and offers close proximity to the Weehawken waterfront promenade and James J. Braddock North Hudson County Park.
