The second season of the acclaimed series Feud is looking for extras in advance of its upcoming shoot throughout the New York City area later this year.
Waldron Casting has officially launched an “open call” seeking both SAG/AFTRA and non-union actors who are interested in paid background work on the upcoming Feud: Capote’s Women. The series, set in the 1960s and 70s, is the follow-up to Feud: Bette and Joan, which starred Susan Sarandon and Jessica Lange and detailed the rivalry between Hollywood legends Bette Davis and Joan Crawford.
Six-time Emmy Award winner Ryan Murphy is producing the new season of the anthology series, which follows the story of Truman Capote and his coterie of socialites that he dubbed his “swans.” Two of them will be played by Demi Moore and Chloë Sevigny, with Naomi Watts, Diane Lane, and Calista Flockhart also set to co-star in the series.
Capote will be played by Tom Hollander and Gus Van Sant is directing the FX series, which is slated to begin filming in New York this autumn. Actors interested in applying to be extras can send an email to [email protected] with the subject “Feud Background” with answers to the questions above.
