In 2012, Alpine, NJ was ranked America’s most expensive zip code by Forbes with a median home value of $4.25 million. The small borough in Bergen County has become a haven for numerous celebrities. Chris Rock, Lil’ Kim, Mary J Blige, and Fabolous all called Alpine home at one point.
Now it has one less celebrity it can call its own. After spending nine years on the market, Sean “Diddy” Combs finally sold his gated Alpine estate. The brick mansion at 207 Anderson Avenue has 7 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and sits on 3.5 acres. According to the listing, other highlights include a library, home theater, basketball court, gym, aquarium, putting green, tennis court, pool, and 6-car garage.
Diddy purchased the estate for $6 million in 2004. Three years later he listed it for sale for $8.99 million, then raised it to $13.5 million in 2013, according to The Real Deal. From there the price saw a series of reduction down to the final closing sale price.
The home was listed by Joshua Baris at Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty
